DESCRIPTION:Leaf your troubles behind and go on a hike as the Three Peaks of Saddleworth\, sponsored by KG Construction\, is back for 2024! Get your walking boots on and put your best foot forward on Saturday 6 July. \nActions peak louder than words\, in 2022 more than £11\,000 was raised by people like you\, and 2023’s total has already surpassed that amount with fundraising pages still open! Your support raises aspirations and creates new opportunities for young people in Oldham\, Saddleworth and the surrounding areas. \nWe will again be taking on the local landmarks of Pots and Pans\, Indian’s Head and Wharmton Hill. The 15-mile route will be challenging but rewarded by some incredible views of Oldham and beyond…just as long as it’s not raining! \nSigning up to support Mahdlo\nIn return for signing up for the challenge\, you will receive a commemorative t-shirt\, breakfast\, picnic and refreshments along the route\, and post-walk food at The Royal George. You will also receive support for your fundraising efforts\, including help with setting up your fundraising page\, social media banners\, sponsorship forms\, etc. \nWe recommend you head over to Give As You Live to set up your fundraising page now\, you’ll need the link before you book your tickets. Just click the green “start fundraising” button. Give As You Live is the fundraising website we’ve chosen as it has the lowest fees\, so more of your donations make it to young people. If you have any questions or would like support\, please email us. \nSigning up to support other charities\nFor the first time we’re opening The Three Peaks of Saddleworth up to other charity fundraisers! For a small fee that covers your breakfast\, picnic and refreshments\, as well as post-walk food\, you’re welcome to raise funds for a charity of your choosing and join us on an incredible walk! \nSigning up just to walk\nIf you just want to walk and not worry about having to raise money in sponsorships that’s fine too\, you’re more than welcome to come along for the day – you still get all the food and benefits! \nBooking your ticket\n\nTickets are no longer available to purchase online\, if you’d like to book a place please email events@mahdloyz.org. \n\nYou can book as many tickets as you want\, from one to a million (although the queue for breakfast might get a bit long if you do that!) and you can choose any combination of the three options available. \nSo if you want to raise money for Mahdlo and your friend wants to raise money for a charity close to their heart\, that’s absolutely possible. Once you’ve ordered your ticket you will receive an email asking you a few questions relating to your health\, if you answer YES to any of these questions please seek advice from your doctor before proceeding. \nPlease make sure you enter the correct email address for everyone who’s coming on the walk\, if you’re booking for more than just yourself. That way we’ll make sure they get the email too and everyone is safe. \nNote that this is not a marshalled event and you are responsible for your own health\, safety and wellbeing at all times.
