DESCRIPTION:Leaf your troubles behind and go on a hike as the Three Peaks of Saddleworth is back for 2025! Get your walking boots on and put your best foot forward on Saturday 5th July. Kindly sponsored by KG Construction \nActions peak louder than words\, in 2024 thousands were raised by people like you! Your support raises aspirations and creates new opportunities for young people to thrive in Oldham\, Saddleworth and the surrounding areas. \nTake on the local landmarks of Pots and Pans\, Indian’s Head and Wharmton Hill. The 15-mile route will be challenging but rewarded by some incredible views of Oldham and beyond…just as long as it’s not raining! \nSigning up to support Mahdlo\nIn return for signing up for the challenge\, you will receive a commemorative t-shirt\, breakfast\, picnic and refreshments along the route\, and post-walk food at The Royal George. You will also receive support for your fundraising efforts\, including help with setting up your fundraising page\, social media banners\, sponsorship forms\, etc. \nWe recommend you head over to Give As You Live to set up your fundraising page\, you’ll need the link before you book your tickets. Just click the green “start fundraising” button. Give As You Live is the fundraising website we’ve chosen as it has the lowest fees\, so more of your donations make it to young people. Please note by signing up to raise funds for Mahdlo you are committing to raising a minimum of £30 per person\, this is to be raised prior to the walk or can be payable on the day. For a small fee that covers your breakfast\, picnic and refreshments\, as well as post-walk food\, you’re welcome to raise funds for a charity of your choosing and join us on an incredible walk! \nSigning up just to walk\nIf you just want to walk and not worry about having to raise money in sponsorships that’s fine too\, you’re more than welcome to come along for the day – you still get all the food and benefits! \nBooking your ticket\nYou can book as many tickets as you want\, from one to a million (although the queue for breakfast might get a bit long if you do that!) and you can choose any combination of the three options available. \nSo if you want to raise money for Mahdlo and your friend wants to raise money for a charity close to their heart\, that’s absolutely possible. Once you’ve ordered your ticket you will receive an email asking you a few questions relating to your health\, if you answer YES to any of these questions please seek advice from your doctor before proceeding. \nPlease make sure you enter the correct email address for everyone who’s coming on the walk\, if you’re booking for more than just yourself. Then this could be the event for you… Join us at The Unit Fitness Gym on Sunday 23rd March and take on the Mahdrox challenge! \nThe event will run from 10am – 4pm with 1 hour time slots allocated to each category doubles. \nCompetition Categories: \n\nMen Doubles\nWomen Doubles\nMixed Doubles\n\nThis is the ultimate test of endurance\, strength\, and mental toughness — and you’ll also be raising money to support Mahdlo Youth Zone. \nWe are raising money to enhance our sports and physical wellbeing offer by enabling young people to use our gym 5 days a week for just 50p. Your participation in this event will help support the vital work we do. Let’s work together to make a difference while pushing our limits! \nThe workout will last 30 minutes and will be judged on as many rounds as possible (AMRAP). \nThe workout will include: \n\n500m Run (together)\n400m Ski-erg (shared)\n30 Wall Balls (shared) – 4kg women’s\, 6kg men’s.\n2 Length prowler push (shared) – 100kg women’s\, 150kg men’s.\n10 Burpee (shared)\n\nPlease note: Entry is £60 per couple (£30 each).  \nTickets are still available for our postponed event\, the new date will be confirmed soon.

DESCRIPTION:Leaf your troubles behind and go on a hike as the Three Peaks of Saddleworth\, sponsored by KG Construction\, is back for 2024! Get your walking boots on and put your best foot forward on Saturday 6 July. \nActions peak louder than words\, in 2022 more than £11\,000 was raised by people like you\, and 2023’s total has already surpassed that amount with fundraising pages still open! Your support raises aspirations and creates new opportunities for young people in Oldham\, Saddleworth and the surrounding areas. \nWe will again be taking on the local landmarks of Pots and Pans\, Indian’s Head and Wharmton Hill. The 15-mile route will be challenging but rewarded by some incredible views of Oldham and beyond…just as long as it’s not raining! \nSigning up to support Mahdlo\nIn return for signing up for the challenge\, you will receive a commemorative t-shirt\, breakfast\, picnic and refreshments along the route\, and post-walk food at The Royal George. You will also receive support for your fundraising efforts\, including help with setting up your fundraising page\, social media banners\, sponsorship forms\, etc. \nWe recommend you head over to Give As You Live to set up your fundraising page now\, you’ll need the link before you book your tickets. It really is a day to craft your own Christmas.

DESCRIPTION:Booking will be available from Monday 5 June. \n\nHoliday Zone takes place Monday to Friday throughout the six-week holidays\, from 8.30am until 3.30pm. \nWe want Holiday Zone to be as affordable as possible\, so we’ve locked our prices again! Each day is just £13 per young person and includes a light breakfast and hot lunch\, as well as access to every activity throughout the day. For an extra 50p\, why not extend your booking until 5pm with Holiday Zone Extra? \nWhether your child likes to draw and paint in the art area\, play football or dodgeball\, or spend time crafting gifts to take home\, we’ve got different daily activities available. \nWe’ve also got a gaming area with games consoles\, table football and the ever-popular pool! \n \nHoliday Zone is open to Mahdlo members aged 8 to 14 years. Membership forms can be completed at reception. If you would like to enquire about your membership status\, please contact reception on 0161 624 0111. \nYour child will be looked after by our team of qualified and trained\, DBS checked\, youth workers\, activity workers and volunteers. Since taking control in 1996\, he led the business onto the stock market\, building an order book value of £3 billion and steered the company to its market-leading position. \nBob is currently holding executive and non-executive roles in a number of companies where he continues to be instrumental in guiding businesses to make beneficial changes that will not only improve the business itself but will aid communities and have a positive impact on the lives and welfare of others. \n\nWe are honoured that Bob has taken time out of his busy schedule to join us. DESCRIPTION:Booking is available now.\nPlease call reception on 0161 624 0111 or visit Mahdlo to book a place! \n\nHoliday Zone takes place Tuesday to Friday\, 8.30am – 3.30pm. \nWe want Holiday Zone to be as affordable as possible\, so we’ve locked our prices again! Each day is just £13 per young person and includes a light breakfast and hot lunch\, as well as access to every activity throughout the day. For an extra 50p\, why not extend your booking until 5pm with Holiday Zone Extra? \nWhether your child likes to draw and paint in the art area\, play football or dodgeball\, or spend time crafting gifts to take home\, we’ve got different daily activities available. \nWe’ve also got a gaming area with games consoles\, table football and the ever-popular pool! \nCADS – Holiday Zone for young people with additional needs\nOur holiday programme is fun and inclusive and designed for young people with additional needs or a disability aged 8 to 25\, and non-disabled siblings and friends (aged 8 to 19). \nCADS will take place on Tuesday 30 May and Wednesday 31 May. You can book one day of the CADS Holiday Programme by calling reception on 0161 624 0111 or visiting Mahdlo to book a place. CADS costs £5 per young person\, and lunch can be added on for £2. \nThe programme offers a range of activities in a structured environment. We do not provide 1-to-1 support\, however\, we welcome PAs to support any young people who require assistance. Any PAs attending the programme will be asked to complete our PA Agreement. \n \nHoliday Zone is open to Mahdlo members aged 8 to 14 years. Membership forms can be completed at reception. If you would like to enquire about your membership status\, please contact reception on 0161 624 0111. \nYour child will be looked after by our team of qualified and trained\, DBS checked\, youth workers\, activity workers and volunteers. To ensure the health and safety of your child whilst at Holiday Zone\, advance booking is required. \nPlease note that all young people attending Mahdlo are expected to adhere to our members Code of Conduct.
