DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Business Breakfast with Su Schofield and Luke Rothwell\, 30th April\nJoin us for an inspiring morning at Mahdlo to meet Founder Patrons\, Luke and Su from Manchester Cabins\, Bunkabin\, Oldham Athletic and SportsTown. \nBrother and Sister team Luke and Su navigated taking over the second generation family business during the Covid pandemic.  This was quickly followed by the purchase of Oldham Athletic and SportsTown (the owner of Boundary Park) reuniting the Football Club with its home ground through common ownership after a disconnect during previous ownerships. \nJoin Luke and Su at Mahdlo where they will share their experiences balancing entrepreneurship with owning a football club\, and the highs and lows involved in turning it around.  It is also a vital opportunity to hear more about their plans for SportsTown\, which in partnership with partners including OMBC\, GMCA and NCA are aiming to transform Oldham for generations to come through combining Health\, Sport and Education \nTimings \n8.30am: Arrival \n9.15am: Talk Begins \n10:30am: Close \nIf you’d like to claim your ticket for only £8.50\, please head to the link below. \nMahdlo patrons are able to attend this event for free. DESCRIPTION:Leaf your troubles behind and go on a hike as the Three Peaks of Saddleworth is back for 2026! Get your walking boots on and put your best foot forward on Saturday 4th July. Kindly sponsored by KG Construction \nActions peak louder than words\, in 2025 thousands were raised by people like you! Your support raises aspirations and creates new opportunities for young people to thrive in Oldham\, Saddleworth and the surrounding areas. \nTake on the local landmarks of Pots and Pans\, Indian’s Head and Wharmton Hill. The 15-mile route will be challenging but rewarded by some incredible views of Oldham and beyond…just as long as it’s not raining! \nSigning up to support Mahdlo\nIn return for signing up for the challenge\, you will receive a commemorative t-shirt\, breakfast\, picnic and refreshments along the route\, and post-walk food at The Royal George. You will also receive support for your fundraising efforts\, including help with setting up your fundraising page\, social media banners\, sponsorship forms\, etc. \nWe recommend you head over to Give As You Live to set up your fundraising page\, you’ll need the link before you book your tickets. Just click the green “start fundraising” button. Give As You Live is the fundraising website we’ve chosen as it has the lowest fees\, so more of your donations make it to young people. If you have any questions or would like support\, please email us. Please note by signing up to raise funds for Mahdlo you are committing to raising a minimum of £50 per person\, this is to be raised prior to the walk or can be payable on the day. If making a group booking and using the same booking link each individual is committing to raising a minimum of £50\, for example if making a group booking of 10 you are committing to raising £500 between each other. \nSigning up just to walk\nIf you just want to walk and not worry about having to raise money in sponsorships that’s fine too\, you’re more than welcome to come along for the day – you still get all the food and benefits! \nBooking your ticket\nYou can book as many tickets as you want\, from one to a million (although the queue for breakfast might get a bit long if you do that!) and you can choose any combination of the three options available. \nSo if you want to raise money for Mahdlo and your friend wants to raise money for a charity close to their heart\, that’s absolutely possible. Once you’ve ordered your ticket you will receive an email asking you a few questions relating to your health\, if you answer YES to any of these questions please seek advice from your doctor before proceeding. \nPlease make sure you enter the correct email address for everyone who’s coming on the walk\, if you’re booking for more than just yourself. That way we’ll make sure they get the email too and everyone is safe. \nPlease note: that this is not a marshalled event and you are responsible for your own health\, safety and wellbeing at all times.
