DESCRIPTION:Professionals Training: 14th November \nThe SPACE at Mahdlo \n9:30am – 3:30pm \nMax 50 \n  \nIntroduction to Sensory Processing Difficulties \nThis training is aimed at all those with an interest in the care and education of children and young people.  \nIt will provide you with an understanding of sensory processing difficulties and how they can affect a person’s ability to successfully access learning\, play and social situations in the home and education environments. Further to this you will explore practical intervention strategies (e.g. sensory diets / lifestyles) and how these may best be used to achieve positive outcomes. \nThe course is being delivered by Lisa Hamer\, an Advanced Practitioner in Sensory Integration and Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist. Lisa is the director of Shine Therapy Services Ltd\, a multi – disciplinary consultancy providing Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy for children and young people throughout the North West.

DESCRIPTION:Our annual Patrons Dinner is back for 2024\, being held on Thursday 28th November 2024\, 5:30pm – 8:30pm at Mahdlo. \n  \nWhat to expect: \nOn arrival our Patrons will be greeted by our young people. \nThere will be canapes served in our very own Mahdlo Christmas market. As they spend time perusing the stalls filled with the inspirational work of our young people\, a short set of Christmas classics will be performed. \nOur guests will then be treated to a Christmas dinner whilst celebrating all of the achievements made over the last 12 months. \nAs always\, we’d like to thank our Patrons for their kind and generous support. \n  \nFor more information on our Patron Program please email events@mahdloyz.org \nPlease note this event is invite only.
