Two of Oldham’s largest children’s charities have teamed up together for a 2020 Fundraising Golf Day at Saddleworth Golf Club.
Mahdlo and Kingfisher Special School will both benefit from the event, with both charities taking 50% of funds raised each.
The event is once again being held at the stunning Saddleworth Golf Club on Friday 24th April 2020.
With unbeatable views of the Pennine Hills and overlooking the villages of Saddleworth, the course is maintained to the highest standards and is recognized as one of the finest courses in the North of England.
By entering in this year’s event, teams will enjoy:
- Late morning arrival for tea, coffee and a bacon sandwich
- 18 holes of Golf on the scenic course, 4 Ball Team Stableford Competition
- On course refreshments
- Complimentary refreshments post round
- Entry into longest drive & nearest the pin competitions
A team of four is available for just £200. Hole sponsorships are also available at £100.

Mahdlo makes a real difference to young people from all across Oldham. Open whenever school is closed, Mahdlo provides a safe and affordable place for young people to spend their leisure time, meet new friends, have new experiences and access the support they need to develop to achieve their full potential. For only £5 a year membership and 50p per visit young people have access to over 15 different activities each session.
Kingfisher Special School is the only Primary School in Oldham for children with complex and severe learning needs. The school is incredibly successful and provides ‘a place of learning’ for some of the most disadvantaged children in our town. The school is always developing innovative ways for the children to access learning and the support of the wider community is instrumental in making this happen.
