Staff and young people from Mahdlo headed to Well-I-Hole Farm for a day of fun filled family action at Saddleworth Show!
Celebrating its 35th year, the event saw the usual array of Vintage and classic cars, inflatables, and craft stalls grace the countryside, alongside a variety of activities put on by our own Mahdlo team including; football matches, arts and crafts sessions, and even a strongman challenge to test even the hardiest of show-goers.
Mahdlo musicians once again provided entertainment with a series of spectacular performances. Our own Jade, Samantha May and Boris AKA 3Bless captivated the crowds with their sets before Milly and Cara took to the stage. The girls performed so well they were awarded ‘Best in Show’ for their age category.
Mark Gilligan, Senior Zone Coordinator at Mahdlo said: “It’s been a fantastic day, I’d like to say thank you to the organisers of Saddleworth Show for giving our staff and members the opportunity to be involved.
“The performances by our young people were absolutely outstanding, they should be so proud. For Milly and Cara to take home the cup for best in show in their age group is a testament to how hard they’ve worked on their act.”
Mel Farrar from Saddleworth Show added: “Many thanks for the excellent input from your youngsters (from Mahdlo) at our Show this weekend. They really did add a brilliant extra layer to what was a splendid Showcase and a splendid day.”
