We recently started the first of our RBS funded Changing Futures courses, aimed at helping to prepare young people for the world of work and training. We were thrilled that Tom Coogan of The Casey Companies came in to chat to the group last week. Talking about opportunities and being determined, he said: “There’s always something around the corner that suits you if you just show willing and never give up.”
This week, to follow up on the inspiring talk, the group got to visit a construction site in Radcliffe as guests of The Casey Companies:
Mohammed, who is on the course, said: I really enjoyed my experience today – it’s opened my eyes to what really goes into construction and building work. It’s not just about bricks, it’s all the planning and drawing things up and understanding how to be competitive with other companies.
