Kevin Sinfield OBE, born in Oldham, is the defence coach for the Leicester Tigers Rugby Union club, a former professional rugby league player, and captain and director of rugby for Leeds Rhinos.

Kevin played his entire professional career with Leeds and is one of the most successful players in Super League history, having captained the team to seven Super League championships.

Since 2020 he has been an avid fundraiser, with his latest efforts raising more than £1 million on a 24 hour run from Leicester Tigers’ home ground Welford Road Stadium, to Leeds Rhinos’ Headingley.
