Do you live in Oldham, Saddleworth, Rochdale or Tameside?
If you become a member of Mahdlo Youth Zone and you’ll gain access to the fantastic activities on offer.
Mahdlo Youth Zone is a state-of-the-art youth hub, open to young people aged 8 to 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, offering a place where you can make new friends, take part in activities, chill out, play sports, or try something new.
Our annual membership fee is £5, and then only 50p every time you come after that! We’re open to young people from all backgrounds, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
Starting or Renewing your membership
Mahdlo Youth Zone memberships last for one year.
Current members need to renew their membership each year to keep access to the opportunities we have on offer.
When renewing your membership, it’s important that you:
- Update your information (any changes to your information like a change of address, school, or contact details)
- Include two different emergency contacts
- Read and accept consent carefully
- Pay your £5 membership renewal fee online, or by cash or card
Frequently asked questions
Mahdlo Youth Zone is a purpose-built facility offering a wide range of activities, including dance, sport, music, media, employability and mentoring.
We have a three-court sports hall with facilities for indoor tennis, badminton, football, netball and basketball, a separate climbing wall, a fitness suite with the latest gym equipment, and an outdoor multi-use games area.
Inside we’ve got a café area selling healthy food and drink, space for dance, music, arts and crafts, gaming, martial arts and boxing.
And it’s all just 50p!
Once you’ve paid your £5 annual membership, every time you come to Mahdlo you’ll need to pay 50p.
Depending on your age, you will be part of either Junior Zone or Senior Zone.
- If you’re aged 8 to the end of year 8, you’ll be part of Junior Zone.
- From year 9 up to the age of 19, or 25 with an additional need, you’ll be in Senior Zone
