From sports to arts, music to cooking, there is something fun for everyone to enjoy! Holiday Zone is open to Mahdlo members aged 8 to 14 years, who have paid their £5 membership fee in full. Membership can be completed online or at reception. If you would like to enquire about your membership status, please contact reception on 0161 624 0111. Holiday Zone Extra is 50p and needs to be booked as an addition to Holiday Zone as it is not a standalone session.
Your child will be looked after by our team of qualified and trained, DBS checked, youth workers, activity workers and volunteers. To ensure the health and safety of your child whilst at Holiday Zone, advance booking is required.
Please note that all young people attending Mahdlo are expected to adhere to our members’ Code of Conduct.

MONDAY: Mini-Olympics, Pool and Table Tennis Competitions, Street Art, Pom Pom Pets, Dodgeball, Boardgame Bonanza.
TUESDAY: Mahdlo Cup Football Competition, FIFA Competition, Phone Charms, Tennis, Badminton, Sun Catchers.
WEDNESDAY: Halloween Dance, Touch Rugby Competition, Darts Practice, Netball, Basketball, Slime Making, Darts Competition.
THURSDAY: Bike-ability 10am – 2pm, American Sports Day; Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse, American Football and Baseball, Rocket League Competition, Halloween Decorations.
FRIDAY: Halloween Mask Making, Pumpkin Carving, Mini Halloween Party, Halloween Film Afternoon, Young People’s Choice of Sports All Day.
All this as well as our usual sports, arts, gaming zone, pool, table tennis, music……….
Frequently asked questions
Absolutely, Holiday Zone runs from 8.30am until 3.30pm but you’re welcome to drop off or pick up at any point between these times.
Please note that you must pick up your child on time at the end of their session, if you’re not sure when their session ends please get in touch.
We are unable to offer a discount for any reduced hours.
All meals, unless otherwise stated, are Halal, and there will always be a vegetarian option available.
Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to the session that your child is due to attend, if they have any known food allergies or special dietary requirements, and we will do our utmost to accommodate these.
In the event that we cannot accommodate these, please provide your child with a packed lunch.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that our catering environments are completely free from nuts.
If your child doesn’t like the food options, please provide them with a packed lunch as alternative food choices are unavailable. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any discount to our rates for this.
We will provide water during the day for your child, and for bookings which include meal options, juice will be provided at meal times. Our tuck shop is open at various intervals during Holiday Zone, where we have drinks and snacks for sale.
We may be able to move your booking to another date during Holiday Zone, or even to a future Holiday Zone date. Please speak to reception about your options.
