Oldham Theatre Workshop at Mahdlo Youth Zone
We’re partnering with Oldham Theatre Workshop to bring a series of creative drama and performance workshops to Mahdlo this autumn.
Whether you’re into acting, dance, spoken word, creating stories or just want to try something new, there’s a programme to get involved in. You’ll have the chance to develop your ideas, work with other young people and build towards a final performance in December.
Each programme costs £5 in total to attend, covering all sessions.
Create as a Company
- 11+ years
- Mondays, 4:30pm–6:30pm
- Starting Monday 28 September, weekly sessions
- Work together as a company to create an original show.
- £5 for the full 11 week course
Performance Lab
- 13–19 years (25 with a disability)
- Mondays, 7pm–9pm
- Starting Monday 28 September, weekly sessions
- £5 for the full 11 week course
A creative drop in to develop performance ideas through theatre, dance, spoken word and more. Work independently or create something together.
Mahdlo Show Makers
- 8–13 years
- Tuesdays, 5:30pm–7:30pm
- Starting Tuesday 29 September
- Explore and play with ideas, characters and stories, then work together to bring them to life through performance.
