Short Breaks and Inclusion

Every Mahdlo session, from Monday through to Sunday is accessible and we have trained inclusion staff throughout the week.

Some of our sessions need to be booked through POINT, others are open access. Please check each session carefully to make sure you book if required.

Mahdlo Activities

Yellow boxes are Mahdlo sessions that don't need booking. You can just turn up to this session and pay 50p (as long as you have a membership!)

Frequently asked questions

No, our sessions are designed so that you can drop your young person off and then pick them up again after the session.

All our sessions are managed and led by trained youth workers and inclusion workers, so your young person is in safe hands!

If your young person requires one-to-one support, you or a personal assistant must be present.

All Short Breaks sessions require pre-booking through POINT, it is not possible to turn up to any of the following sessions without pre-booking:

  • Monday Arts and Crafts
  • Tuesday Short Breaks
  • Wednesday Life Skills
  • Friday Short Breaks

No Mahdlo sessions (Tuesday VI Group, Thursday Multisports and all evening and weekend sessions) require pre-booking, it is possible to turn up for these.

Mahdlo is unable to provide one-to-one support or personal care to young person.

Personal Assistants receive free entry to all Mahdlo sessions for young people who require this additional support.

Personal Assistants receive free entry to each session, but will need to read and agree to our Personal Assistant Policy.
