Mahdlo Youth Zone is a state-of-the-art multi-million Pound location providing young people aged 8 to 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, engaging and exciting opportunities to try something new, seven days a week.
We’ve got incredible facilities including a 3G Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) pitch climbing wall, boxing gym, three court sports hall, sensory room, fully equipped gym including weightlifting equipment, recreation area and dance, arts, music and media suites and much more.
With more than 100 full-time, part-time and volunteer staff we have a fundraising target of £1.7 million this year, raised through our Patron’s Programme, community fundraising, and events.
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and pro-active person to join our team to the role of Corporate Partnership & Engagement Fundraiser.
The ideal candidate will focus on the long-term sustainability of the charity and will have the responsibility of securing unrestricted funding from local businesses with a target of £60,000 in year one, increasing to £125,000 by the end of year three.
Working with the Chief Executive, Fundraising Manager, leadership team and existing Patrons to generate leads, you will secure new multi-year Patrons; Charity of the Year Partnerships; in aid of events, sponsorship of current events and introduce employee fundraising across all corporate supporters. You will manage and steward your own portfolio of Patrons and contribute to providing excellent stewardship and relationship management of existing Patrons and supporters to ensure their continued support.
