On 23rd February, our Ability Football team played against Blackburn Youth Zone and Wigan Youth Zone in an inter-Youth Zone tournament – they demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship and really did us proud. Their hard work was rewarded as they didn’t lose a game and came away with the trophy at the end of the night!
Frankie Byrne, our Sports Coordinator, said: “Our players filled me with pride with how they represented Mahdlo. They not only played well together to win their matches, but showed confidence in mixing with new friends from the other Youth Zones. This is why I love the power of sport.”
